Pastor Bellarmee Milosi

My name is Bellarmee Milosi. I am originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo). I was born and raised in the United Methodist Church. My father is a retired elder in the UMC where he served for more than 30 years. God used the connections of the UMC as a vehicle that has landed me in Cozad. After completing my High School education, I attended Africa University (in Zimbabwe) which is the biggest UMC related educational institution in the whole of Africa. Upon my graduation, I went to the Philippines and served as a UMC missionary for two years. In the Philippines I worked with an organization called Kapatiran Kaunlaran Foundation Incorporation (KKFI). After my mission commitment in the Philippines, I decided to pursue a Master of Divinity degree specializing in Greek and Hebrew language at Methodist Theological School in Ohio. After my graduation, I accepted my first appointment as an associate pastor at St Paul’s UMC Papillion in the Great Plains conference where I have served for the last two years.

Now, I am super excited to be the pastor at Cozad UMC. Personality wise, I am an indoor type of person. I go out when necessary (Nebraska is either too cold or too hot for me). During my spare time I like playing sports (especially soccer), doing music (this include writing, producing, recording, or just singing), playing video games when time permit, reading books. Talking about books, I like reading the Bible (first) and other books come second. One my goal for this year is to master the rules of the American football, and baseball. After living in the US for some time, the rules still haven’t made sense to me, especially baseball.
